Contract Administration-

Our quantity surveyors and proven tools provide effective commercial contract administration and cost management services during the construction phase. At Hanga Associates, our Contract Administration Services include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Review and make recommendations for contractor’s progress payment applications;
  • Negotiate with contractors and ensure contractual compliance;
  • Certification of value of work in progress;
  • Rise and fall calculations;
  • Change management (claims management and negotiations);
  • Management of cashflow during construction – cashflow forecast progressively updated considering current information;
  • Prepare of cost management documents; 
  • Progressive reporting to the Client;
  • Analyse data relating to contract performance;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Continuous monitoring of contractual compliance;
  • Prepare progressive financial reports during construction phase;
    • Develop and agree format for progressive financial reports;
    • Collect, collate and analyse financial information;
    • Compile report and convey results to the relevant personnel and Client;
  • Communicate with Client:
    • Provide technically sound and factually accurate advice to the Client
    • Ensure Client is kept informed at all Stages
  • Conduct financial audit on progressive payment application submissions
    • Time control (critical on contracts largely performed on Time and Materials basis);
    • Design documentation control;
    • Financial control;
  • Resource Analyses
    • Prepare productivity estimates / forecasts
    • Develop appropriate performance monitoring procedures
    • Collect and analyze data and monitor contractor performance throughout the project.

About Us

Hanga Associates is a Professional Quantity Surveying Company incorporated under the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.

Our key personnel(Quantity Surveyors) are professionally registered with the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS). As such, our practice and the services we offer are guided by the esteemed high standards expected of a professional Quantity Surveyor.

We strive to deliver high quality professional services; on time, and within budget, meeting our clients requirements and expectations.

Our Quantity Surveying practise is based in Perth, Western Australia.

QUANTITY SURVEYING

ESTIMATING

As part of our Services, we prepare different types of estimates at all stages of project development from factored order of magnitude estimates to detailed estimates using our knowledge of cost estimating techniques ranging from factored, unit rate method to first principles estimating. We have the expertise to develop unit rates and the development of productivity factors.

PROJECT COST MANAGEMENT

Hanga Associates Quantity Surveyors have the ability, skill and know-how on establishing and maintaining Client’s budget for any construction (and/or demolition) project. We do this by estimating the costs and quantities of all resources required, make future predictions of costs through our understanding of the effects of inflation on construction costs.

PLANNING & SCHEDULING

We provide planning and scheduling services. We have an in-depth understanding of different planning techniques such as Gantt Charts, Network Analysis and Critical Path Analysis etc. We use Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
